Carmen Aguilar y Wedge is an award winning Mexican-American artist, designer, and performing artist. Previously, the creative director and co-founder of Hyphen Labs, Carmen has spent the last decade leading multidisciplinary teams creating art installations and commercial projects. Charming, curious and creative, Carmen, understands people and the planetary centered design and pours her love into her work from emotional arcs for immersive walkthrough and digital experiences, to exciting events, she brings ideas to life as an organized producer and artist.
Carmen creates physical and digital experiences that blend humor, design, imagination and technology. Her work spans large installation art, exhibition design and immersive experiences, and live entertainment that examines connection and transformation blending theory, speculative thinking and play.
